of course you haven’t you big liar

I think I have

Honey soy chicken top left
Rice top right
Charred broccoli bottom left
Pak choi bottom right

Nobody has even said - “Now we’re cooking on induction!”

Because gas is the best.

Question for induction hob users - when you cook a steak, is it possible to get the pan dangerously hot like you can with gas? So theres smoke coming off it and stuff?

We have four pans and two frying pans so it is possible.

yes

edit: i don’t get how people think it’s shitter. maybe you’re just jelly. idk

In fact we did a friends-only Come Dine With Me thing and I reckon we definitely did on one of our hosting nights!

Fucking good point that

i don’t doubt people own at least 4 pans

I’d say that they all get a reasonably even usage. Front left for stir-frying, front right for slow cooking / casseroling; rear back and right for pasta/rice.

bottom right

I have an induction hob (was there when we moved in, only realised when our saucepans didn’t work on it) and the top left and bottom right have a extra setting called P (i have decided it stands for POWER DRIVE, inspired by Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge of course) which is faster to heat up than 9, the normal max setting. back left is really big though so don’t normally need that.
