The Horrors have been in terminal decline since ‘primary colors’. The last 3 albums vapid, ham-fisted record collector rock is as mediocre as Kasabian’s (who can at least be amusing on occasion, if unwittingly so) but, due to presenting themselves as being articulate musical aesthetes who release the odd lounge music compilation, are taken far more seriously by serious music fans and critics.
