February was the last time - Had to iron all my new work uniform when I first took it out of the packets.

Don’t foresee having to use it again.

We’re team aqua beads (the spray with water version). We’ve somehow avoided spillages, though the cat is intent on changing that.

I was wearing a pair of Air Max I’ve had lying around for ages (bought them last year and don’t really like them) I think I have weird feet though because literally every pair of shoes I’ve ever worn has caused me issues at the start.

Can’t remember the last time I ironed something. Not even sure I know where my iron is.

When we briefly returned to the office last year in August and September, the request was to wear business smart casual, but everyone ignored that and turned up in shorts or dresses and t-shirts. I’m hoping the same will happen this year.

Morning. Was on a Teams meeting with some Austrians at 8am. Unacceptable.

I hate ironing, but like the feeling of ironed clothes, so I iron approximately five garments per week.

Bold move. I like it.

This has reminded me that I need to fashion a comedy fake moustache for the hearing I’m anonymously dialling into tomorrow at 8 o’clock.

Good morning,
Thinking about buying this for Winnie

  • Buy it, Winnie will love it.
  • She’ll probably just ignore it

Its eid this week and I have to get new clothes, its a tradition and honestly the only time I bother these days, don’t think I’ve gone clothes shopping since last summer and even that was just running stuff

Morning!

Another WFH day here, so nothing hugely exciting to report tbf, though after I trapped a nerve in my shoulder last night (and was in alot of pain) i’ve woken up and it has gone much much easier - just a bit achy now, so pleased about that. Means I should be OK to go swimming tomorrow morning as planned.

Going to pop out at lunch to get a 50p Iced Coffee from Costa for the promo they’ve got on.

Looking forward to my lunch of jacket potato, cheese and beans too.

Good morning. A silly pair of oystercatchers has decided to raise their chickies next to a footpath outside the distillery building. They scuttle off giving us shifty eyes when somebody passes by, then scuttle back to resume their egg warming. It is rather amusing really. Apparently they nest there every year, so they’re obviously happy with the company…

On days where I have no meetings, I do less work because for some reason the structure of having meetings to work towards means I fill the time with actual work.

  • I do this too
  • I am a model employee and do work all the time
  • I am a terrible employee and do no work all the time

Hey everyone

Work

Getting cooked for tonight which is good - I’m not sure when the last time someone else cooked for me (and it wasn’t a restaurant or takeaway) - but it was quite a long long time ago

Yes! The last 2 days i’ve had no meetings booked in (aside my daily team catch ups) and i’ve been very unproductive. That meeting structure definitely encourages me to work.

Today is, I am very happy to report, my Friday

So much for

Got a couple of miles up the road and the deluge started. There was a bit of me thinking I may as well carry on now that I’m soaked, but nah.

I use it for sewing. I do iron stuff when I’m wearing normal clothes but like fuck am I wearing anything that needs ironing when I’m not leaving the house. Stretch fabrics only.
