I had a mattress topper but it moved around under the bedsheet and ruined my sleep for a week or so until I took it off.

Four poster double bed with fairy lights draped across it, a decorative sheet over the end and sunhats/bags on the posts at the front

Mattress is shocking, you can feel all the metal/springs (although less so when i’m trying to sleep)
Extremely firm support pillow, can only sleep with one pillow at a time
Dunno how many togs my duvet has
6/10 sleep atm

It’s a cheap sofabed from Ikea. It’s not all that good for my pain issues but it is better than sleeping in a chair or on the ground.

Intermittent, unpredictable cat presence
Window open if it’s not too windy

Separate duvets (a game changer! The TV is always hot and I’m always cold so I have a thick duvet and he has a thin summer one)
‘Hotel pillows’ whatever tf they are. Got them from Groupon and they are very good.
