What’s your favourite summer herb?

Yoghurt + mayo + dill + lemon makes the best dip/condiment to go with summer bbqs

Most middle class moment of my life was standing in the middle of a Waitrose and stomping my feet, on the brink of tears because they didn’t have any dried chives.
Had to have a real stern word with myself.

Apart from bay leaf maybe? Idk

Thing is, nothing actually properly grows in European winter and not summer, does it?

I don’t think you’re very summery, Tuna.

That’s very uncalled for

I really like thyme. We’ve got thyme, rosemary, and lavender growing in our garden at the moment, probs going to plant some mint because it’s well easy and I love mint.

Can’t believe no one’s mentioned basil yet.

Basil is good, I think I don’t associate it with summer so much because I eat pasta with it all year around. Dill is pretty fresh and makes potatoes great. Fennel might be a shout too, using the tops as a herb. Fennel, chilli, thyme mushroom pasta yes.

basil’s fine but not that versitile, can’t put it on chili, curry or any other of my staple dishes apart from tomato based pasta
