Lady Dynamite. I don’t think it’s engaged me quite as much as the first season, but there have been some great moments and little details this time round. Obviously - like Arrested Development - it’s going to reward a big rewatch in the future.

Yeah! I’m on episode 4 and really enjoying it. Bernthal is just fucking perfect.

Watched a couple of episodes (maybe 3 or 4?) and kinda lost interest. All of the characters were just so po-faced and totally joyless making it hard for me to feel invested in them…

Might give it another try when the show returns in January.

Gonna have to back and watch Daredevil season 2 as well, never got around to that so was a bit confused when Karen showed up in The Punisher. (Have now googled how they know each other.)

Aye, could have done with one of those re-cap thingies actually. I mean, I’ve even watched Daredevil s2 but I couldn’t really remember the specifics. My memory is kind of crap though.

Yeah I think I get what you mean, like a lot of it felt very rushed and some stuff wasn’t really explained very well. Feels like they had to cram two episodes into one and lost a lot on the editing room floor. It’s frustrating how they’re forcing it into a fixed length, presumably to allow for TV reruns in the future. Feels like they should be able to play around with the streaming format a bit more.

Hmm I can kind of see that. I think it does get better though, like they all got to have a lot of fun in the time loop episode.

Just started re-watching (for the third time now) Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23. So fucking funny. Cannot understand why it was canned after 2 seasons. Kristen Ritter is superb, as is James van der Beek.

I’m 3 or 4 episodes in - it’s pretty decent. Jeff Daniels is a bad man in it, and is doing a pretty good job of playing that bad man
