I think I might have to check out ‘An Ordinary Spy’ and ‘10th Grade’. I already had ‘A Perfect Spy’ by Le Carré lined up but these sound like a good follow up

We started watching Gilmore Girls last night. Three episodes later we forced ourselves to get ready for bed. Really enjoyable dialogue so far.

New series of Rick and Morty (imminent)
More Fargo
More Stranger Things
New Game Of Thrones (although not as enamoured and desperate as I used to get)

Considering starting:

Just getting in to Last Chance U. Really good stuff. Anyone else seen it?

I think @colon_closed_bracket made the pic, apparently the real t-shirt says hype?

Yep - from the ‘DiSers as brands’ thread. (Warning: contains in-jokes and weak puns)

It wasn’t shown on British TV and those were different times. My sister had a US DVD of it so time was spent typing codes into players to allow them to show region x (can’t remember the names of the regions).

Bill is one of my favourite comedy characters of all time

Anyone watched the latest season of OITNB and is it worth it? I really liked the first two, third was OK but it got a bit silly and Piper went from being irritating to hateful.

When you’re done, it’s worth trying to find Undeclared - was an off-shoot with some of the same cast. Much like Freaks and Geeks, it flopped and was cancelled after the 1 season (and the network, in their wisdom, started showing the episodes in the wrong order, such was their care for it!)

How old is your sister?

It’s not that abrupt IIRC but yeah, it became something of a cult thing much later, at the time the ratings weren’t great at all. But still launched several people’s careers all the same!

Find Piper fucking infuriating (did from the beginning tbf)

funny you should mention this as in the last season she becomes the leader of the White Supremacist gang ‘by accident’

Please Like Me is back for its last season. Possibly my favourite show in recent years.

I wonder why it was shown on Irish television (because I definitely saw it on terrestrial TV) and not in the UK?

Enjoyed The Expanse, cracking space thriller. Now that Netflix has branded it an “original” hopefully the season two episodes will be on there as soon as they’re aired in America yeah

Brain-dead. See my thread. It is ace

Parks and Recreations. Up to season 4.

Atlanta. Watching it as it airs here on UK telly like an old fogert

stopped watching the new episodes of HTGAWM so i could concentrate on just finishing gilmore girls

friday is going to come around and i’m not going to be arsed with actually watching it because of complete gilmore fatigue, and then it’s going to be spoilt for me by every website on the planet
