He’s wearing prosthetics I think? It gets quite good as it moves on but the documentary is way better

Keeping up with Veep s6. Not sure how I feel about the new format as Ben and Kent have been sidelined to the point where I think they’ve had 10 lines in 2 episodes. Acting still top notch, but I’m not sure if it has much milage left.

Richard Splett is amazing though

Yes. It’s still funny, although obviously not as good as when Armando was still at the helm. Also, JLD’s character is coming across nastier than ever, in an actually-this-is-quite-horrible-to-watch-and-not-just-in-a-david-brent-office way.

Nearing the end of Love Season 2, just realised that Mickey’s ex is Harry Crane from Mad Men. Probably my fave Mad Man at the moment.

haven’t watched the newest one yet but the last season felt like that, also thought they wrapped it up pretty nicely at the end, so not really expecting too much from this season

Of all the characters

So you’ve warmed a bit more to the show then?

Yeah, slowly but surely

highly recommend reading the appropriate one of these to the episode you’ve just seen. The detail, thought and patterns that reflect the story arc in costume/set design are phenomenal.

Nice! Thanks very much

Been watching Dear White People on Netflix. A few episodes in and need a little break after that last one. Excellent.

Girl Boss was pretty good fun. Finished Rick and Morty too. Going to try and find the new episode later.
Just spotted a thing about art and Amsterdam on iPlayer so will give that a look.

I finally started Line of Duty to see what everyone is banging on about and yes, its very good. Lots of fun if you enjoy shouting “He’s bent!” at your television, as I do.

Watched s1 of Broadchurch. Enjoyable enough, but also pretty shit at the same time. I never enjoy when they find out whodunnit in these things, but this one felt especially cheap. It was really just a less good True Detective s1, from the setting to the scene with them at dinner.

5/10

Almost through S1 of House Of Cards… have been doing 2-3 eps a night. Game Of Thrones in DC, Robin Wright would make a brilliant Cersei Lannister.

Just up to speed with Better Call Saul… this is some show. Prefer it to Breaking Bad, sucks having to wait a week for a new episode.

Looking forward to catching up with new seasons of Veep & Silicon Valley as well.

Started watching Prison Break - it’s absolute garbage but has made me retroactively appreciate Arrested Development even more, now that I know vast swathes of it are just taking the piss out of Prison Break…

Got started on Follow the Money season two yesterday now it’s all recorded off the telly. First season was excellent and this one has started well also.

I watched a little of the mexico wildlife program, the little bear coming down the tree was too cute

Quite enjoying the Good Fight. Sequel to the Good Wife.

PRO No Alicia
PRO No Chris Noth
PRO Rose Leslie

CON No Eli
CON Does have Eli’s daughter
PRO Eli’s daughter not as annoying in this
CON Rose Leslie doing american accent which is perfectly passable but not as charming as her native accent.

Quite enjoying Good Fight too - theme music is a bit jarring.

Dear White People—the TV version of the film from a couple of years ago.

Much better than the film—the characters are more interesting/fleshed out, it has moments of real (and unpleasant) clarity and force, and is funnier than I remember the film being, too.

Oh good lord I am loving Splett so much. I wasn’t really fussed about him until this season but if you listen to his lines, they’re all so clever and on point.

I still love this season but yeah I agree, I want more Kent. But I fucking love Jonah so much.
