Is the second season any better than the first? The first was good in parts but very patchy: not sure if I can be bothered watching any more…
Thanks for the tip off on this, been wanting to watch it for ages. It’s great!
Came in here specifically looking for Bob’s Burgers chat. We’re halfway through season 4 and it’s just sublime. Hilarious but also incredibly heartwarming. Tina could be my favourite character of all time.
That’s how far I am in too. It’s such a joy. Tina I think is my favourite but it’s a close competition with Linda (don’t like Louise though) The supporting cast of characters are wonderful too.
Probably the closest show I’ve seen successfully replicate the warmth and charm of early Simpsons. The animation is excellent too, fantasy sequences are usually histerical. What I particularly like about it is that within the family there’s no antagonism at all, just support, love and kindness.
Tin Star
Proper meh
Bob and Linda are the best tv couple its true love
I’ve started watching American Horror Story again after skipping quite a lot of series. It just gets a bit weird and rank I think.
Sooo I’m on to the latest one with the house in the woods because I like woods and I like houses. One episode in. Is it terrible?
The TV and I are doing Bob and Linda for Halloween. Can’t wait. Gonna cook burgers too.
class!
it probably depends on how much you like those fake horrors docs. I’ll give the season credit for being pretty creative, but the last episode, while not bad per se, felt like it undid any enthusiasm I had for the prior episodes.
I’ve only seen the first episode of the new season. I think I’m pretty much done with the show.
I kind of love them honestly. Hence why I’m giving this series a go.
That’s just it. They all really love each other (these fictional cartoon characters). The kids are majorly weird and there’s no judgement at all from anyone. My favourite thing has to be.

Liar. Anyone watching this?
Yeah I watched it. Not really sure which way it will go.
Some lovely MRA reviews on IMDB.com though.
Well I would be very susprised if it turned out she had made it all up. I’m actually getting some rage at the women of twitter being like “he’s innocent, what a stupid cow!!” over what??? I think its quite good and also its opening up a wider audience of people to talk about rape openly. I had a very interesting conversation with a man at work about it and he’s all squirmy and I was like BUT THIS HAPPENS TO WOMEN EVERY SINGLE DAY
yeah thought the first one was kind of interesting, second one not so much always think these things are a foregone conclusion though cos surely it would be pretty irresponsible for it to end up her just being ‘crazy’ and making it all up dunno
know what you mean about people at work talking about it, so many dodgy comments
Just finished Dirk Gently. Very good and (surprisingly) consistent.
I’ve watched the 1st 2 episodes of Rellik on BBC, which I think is written by the same people.
It’s a detective thing, but told in Reverse, Momento style
bit gimmicky maybe, but I’m involved enough to keep watching
I think people do think that rape is just being dragged down a dark alley by a stranger.
It’s definitely an interesting series but yeah I feel like I can totally see where its going by making her seem totally loopy and unhinged.
I’m a bit more invested in Doctor Foster season 2. Now thats a crazy woman but i’m like “can’t blame her really”
you read the book? it’s been on my list of things to maybe read at some point for awhile now
