I’m not going to like it if the whole series is:

Go to town to teach the police about forensics
Someone approaches them to ask for help on a case
They try to help
They talk to another serial killer for insights

I’ll hate that if thats the show.

Only seen the first episode, but thought the same - the dialogue really clunks at times and there’s an awful lot of Basil Exposition.

Star Trek Discovery is slowly growing on me. I like Suru and Lorca, and Michael is getting a bit less irritating (still irritating though). Would like an episode where she doesn’t have to convince a superior that she’s right about something.

The warp effect is so fucking cool. Also like that it’s getting a bit weird with Stammits reflection in the mirror.

Last episode of The Deuce this evening. Enjoyed it.

Better than Treme, not as compelling as The Wire. Generation Kill level for me (which I really liked).

Have watched the first 6 eps of S2 of The Good Place. As excellent as the first season. Annoyed that I have to wait a few more weeks before watching the remaining eps. Weekly release of episodes is BORING.

So started watching S2 of Stranger Things while I wait. 6 eps in. Again, is excellent. And even better because the whole season is there on release day.

just watched the end of S1 of the good place last night. bit of a slog and final denouement was really stupid.

Also I don’t really know what denouement means.

Good Place is probably the smartest show on TV at the moment. I absolutely love it. Hope they don’t do too many seasons.

I imagine just watching the end of S1 wouldn’t be as enjoyable as if you’d watched the beginning and the middle too

Genuinely love this show I did ponder how they were going to keep it going after the big reveal at the end of season 1 but they’ve done a great job so far.

Watched a season of Hells Kitchen with my housemates. Really good reality TV but on reflection (and from reading about the show) it seems a bit like slave labour
