I was making a lame joke about ER meaning you were thinking about another answer

sorry

Coronation Street probably, given it was a constant in my life from childhood.

Friends, the Simpsons probably runners up.

sub Q

shit you watch on netflix etc that you’re happy to let the whole theme music run, rather than skipping through, cos it’s fucking brilliant

Narcos. cos it’s fucking brilliant

I just go with

IT’S THE NEWS!
IT’S THE NEWS!
IT’S THE NEWS!
IT’S THE NEWS!
IT’S THE NEWS!

I like the ‘With Jon Snow’ refrain foxy, if you’ll allow me to put that in then I’m happy with your version.

You’ve got yourself a deal.

it has stuff before the music doesn’t it which means I’m less inclined to skip the music when it comes. I’m crazy like that.

Got to be Neighbours

theme tunes don’t seem to be such a big deal anymore

Sorry, didn’t see this

Simpsons or Eastenders?

albeit the various versions of

Definitely Neighbours. Watched it 5 times a week for years, sometimes twice a day in the holidays.

Had a quick look the other day…Toady and Steph are still in it!

Seinfeld
Frasier
X Files

Probably Corrie or Match of the Day

Bit like this guy ↓

Always watched it twice a day when possible, I remember neighbors characters more vividly than I remember my actual friends of the same era

Initial thought was The Walking Dead. 83 episodes, watched most at least 3 times.

But then, there’s the show that would be my Mastermind specialist subject, 24 - 205 episodes, watched them all at least twice, but do I ever stick around for the end credits before hitting next? Hmmm. Unlikely tbh.

GET ME THOSE SCHEMATICS!

Ooh no, Neighbours is a good shout. Would have watched that nearly every weekday for 5/6 years of school I suppose. IDK!

I was thinking that during that “half-remembered tv shows” thread when I started watching old 80s kids theme tunes. They literally explained the plot, introduced every character, and then got on with it. And we thought kids have short attention spans NOW.
