I was torn between them, Arcade Fire and Real Tuesday Weld as my third pick, but I saw TPS so many times live playing that album and just loved every single time. Can appreciate they’re not for everyone though!

Saw them at least once; definitely at The Luminaire. That first album was stunning (let’s not discuss their second). They had the look and sound for a short time and produced a brilliant album.
Haven’t heard the album in a long time. I’ll listen again to see if it or I have aged well/poorly. I definitely have aged badly every other way.
