Binged this over a couple of nights, really good! I love the bit where Jeff says “hey, I didn’t get your number” :joy:
And baaaat

What’s the deal with pagers?

Only seen the first 3 episodes thus far.

The first one was slow and weaker than the movie, partly as the movie had done it all before. The second one I wasn’t really paying much attention to, as the first one had bored me somewhat, and I think we’d been out drinking or something. The third one came into its own a lot more and gave me a lot more hope for it.

Was chatting with that gnome about it the other day and she correctly pointed out that lots of these serieseseses that are remakes/rehashes of successful movies/serieseseses take a while to come into their own. I agreed.

Took me until e5 to start properly enjoying it. I hadn’t seen the film at this point either. Just didn’t click straight away. The last 4 episodes are brilliant though

OK, so it’s not just the having seen it before impact. I presume from this you’ve now seen the movie too?

Yep

Colin Robinson and Vanessa Bayer saved the whole series.

Aack off everyone else, especially Jonah Hill’s sister, and do a show about energy vampires in The Office.

Quite surprised by the mixed reaction to this. Couple of the episodes have been slightly weaker but I think it’s been consistently funny across its run.

I really enjoyed it there have been a couple of issues mainly the location, and I can’t stand Nick Kroll (thank christ he was only in one episode).

Colin Robinson is great but i think that episode showed that too much of him would be overkill. think he works brilliantly as an annoying presence that pops up a few times per episode.

Agree. Love the way he snarls when he leaves the room, like he’s just as bad as the others, just with energy.

‘According to this I am 100% white.’

Pretty late to the party but this had me howling through each episode. Just hits the right levels of silliness imo. Definitely preferred it to the film which I enjoyed but didn’t quite love. Think I’m just much more into Tash Demetriou, Matt Berry and Kayvan Novak’s characters.

Excited for a second series. Anyone know when its coming out?

Mark Hamill is going to be in Season 2. That’s pretty cool.

Loved it. Need to watch again.

The trial episode was classic television.

Aye, the trail episode was ace but found it kinda weird that it wasn’t brought up again and there wasn’t any consequences from it…

Back tonight on The Beeb at 10pm :partying_face:
