I’m really interested in purple yams and taro lately, I love a taro bubble tea/purple yam ice cream but I would like to experiment with it myself

hard to look past the obvious big 5 here of potatoes, bread, pasta, rice and noodles, but got a lot of love for bulgur wheat & pearl barley.

Love a bit of fufu

There’s a lot of fufu in the book I’m reading too. Can’t stop myself giggling whenever there’s a line about someone with a pestle and mortar “pounding their fufu”.

Finally a sensible answer!

ME. I am currently 90% carbs. I eat a lot of toast.

I had a chugger job for a month once and a girl in my team took us to a jamaican cafe and I ordered baked plantain chips and it was so good. We went to a different location every day so can’t remember where it was, might check Google maps as it stalks locations

Delicious with a bowl of egusi soup

If you could eat unlimited amounts of your favourite food group without any consequences, what would it be?

Would there be any change to the effect of my consumption of the other two groups?

It’s a wacky world of carbohydrate chemistry out there. Even the 3 unit carbs can be very interesting:
