Really unenlightened about art. All I know is that I especially like Rothko, Hopper and Munch tbh.

I think my biggest ‘Holy fuck wow’ reaction to seeing a piece of art in-the-flesh has to be Cornelia Parker’s ‘Cold Dark Matter’

Which, as stunning as it is in picture form, is just a whole other experience when you’re actually in the physical space

My uncle is a Jesuit, and they found this at his residence in Dublin back in the 90s. Pretty mental.

One of the best things I’ve ever in IRL was probably Hell by the Chapman Brothers. The level of detail is just insane. Think it really appealed to my 12 year old self who used to paint models and Warhammer figures.

I saw it at the precise opening of Tate Modern and didn’t know anything about it and we were just walking around the place & looking at all the ultra famous Dali & Rothko & Pollack &etc and it was all so overwhelmingly dull - like a supermarket stuffed to the gills, and then we walked around the corner into this side room and it was like universal-mind-full-spirit-activation-boom!
