Alzheimers runs in my family. It’s terrible to watch people forget everything, their family and friends etc. No way am I brave enough to do that for a living.

a lot of jobs are saved by the team you work in and/or the occasionally pleasant interactions with customers. working on your own, being despised by everyone who sees you on the job, and probably having at least a few tedious arguments with people who you know are wrong every day… i think i’d hate it.

I’m a graphic designer. I work in an office.

I sit listening to music all day, making stuff look slightly less shite. It’s much better than a lot of other ‘office jobs’.

In my job I used to have a couple of police/court clients where I had to type up 999 calls and interviews relating to child abuse cases. It is horrible. I cannot emphasise enough how grotesque it makes you feel. I can’t imagine having to look through that kind of stuff. I don’t work on those accounts anymore but I still feel a bit knocked about by it when I think back on it, must take so much strength to be on those sort of taskforces every day.
