I use Google Calendar extensively too. I tried with OneNote and Evernote, but ended up settling on Google Docs so that all the stuff could be searched in one place. I would use a Google tasklist for the same if they had a decent one, but they’ve never really bothered to make one for some reason (despite being such a simple thing) but that may be changing with Google Tasks (though it doesn’t seem to have a desktop equivalent yet).
