Also diptyque candles smell disgusting, remember smelling them one by one with increasing outrage. £50 and they smell like that

Does she have the crackley fire ones? They sound so good

Christmas Memories. Suck for that one. Tied into loads of recent family Christmas things.

Used to make up fake Yankee Candle names and when browsing the shelves pick up random candles and sniff them, and then “read” the name.

“Salty Seamen, nice”
“Hangover Spew, wow”
Impending Doom, how’d they make that? "
“That smells exactly like Saint Nick’s Crotch”
“Bin Juice Aroma, that’s exactly what it smells like!”

Gonna be controversial and say I don’t really see the point of candles

Think there’s one called Cotton Fresh or something. Delicious.

Think this was covered by Tuna regarding clean linen, I meant that kinda one. Bye.

I like those oil diffuser things, close my eyes and imagine I am in a muji perusing beige products

I’m a real sucker for True Grace candles. Stupid expensive but they smell a class apart from any other scented candles I’ve found. Probably as wanky as candles get: got one called Sacristy for someone as a gift one year, it’s described as smelling like “memories of wood panelling and leather bound prayer books in wardour chapel”.

I like Lily Flame jasmine. The rose petals one is nice too.

My boyfriend bought a glade candle and it smells so bad even when it’s not lit that I had to hide it in a cupboard

This is the punchiest scented thing I own seeing as you asked - a couple of sprays and it fills the house

And don’t get me started on my incense collection!
