We’re going to eat at 1pm tomorrow I think. It’s just the 4 of us and so no need to eat really late and after dinner the kids will get more time to play. Hopefully outside. Cold cuts and wine in the evening once they’re asleep

I like how you can see I got bored before the last line.

+1 for a frivolous appeal

I thought those were tomorrow?

Mrs CCB made a Delia-style glazed ham, to go with a Brian Harvey Christmas Special. The ‘Stay Another Day’, if you like.

Too much most likely.

Prawn cocktail and avocado, toast with pate, insalata caprese, potato salad, baked Camembert

Turkey crown, parsnips, sprouts (two ways) roast potatoes, Carrots, swede mash, pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings, green beans, baked onion, gravy, cranberry sauce

Trifle, cheese, Yule log, Christmas pudding, espresso torte, strawberries, brandy cream and custard.

Actually ridiculous.

never had a turkey crown. what is it? like the front bit of the turkey or something?

Yeah, it’s like, all the breast and front half with no legs and bottom removed, but still on the bone for carving (although you can get it off the bone)

I mean I say bottom but by bottom I mean ‘back’ but you cook it on its back so
