Great discography. Still never listened to Lysol or A senile animal yet which seem to be well regarded. Been meaning to get them but not got round to it yet. I like all the eras of Melvins. sludgy era on boner records - Atlantic Records era - Kevin Rutmantis on bass era - Big Business era with 2 drummers and the latest one - Steve Mcdonald on bass era.

what keith said up there might explain it if it’s more “metal” than the others, probably why i like it
yeah I always bounced off it for that reason, seemed to have none of their personality to me
Maggot is quite metal though
Houdini is the best one to get first I’d say, but I’d probably say Lysol is my favourite overall.
Their live set is amazing.
