Had an annoying 9 o’clock biology lecture at THE OTHER END OF TOWN* from my 10 o’clock chemistry lecture that I used to frequently skip. Or, more ludicrously, would meet my pal outside of, then we’d go get a £2.50 cooked breakfast from the union and then go to the later lecture.

In first year I went to 15 out of 60 biology lectures. In second year I went to 3 out of 20 (more labs that year). Got an average of a 2:1 for them, because biology is easy.

*15 minutes tops

1st What point did you back out?
2nd I have often wondered how a tattoo artist goes about doing tattoos like this, where do the lean do they request the area cleaned first ect.?

Skin has to be cleaned (usually with an alcohol swab) and, where necessary, shaved prior to a tattoo :+1:

  1. I was next in the queue and ran out of time before they closed for the day. (I was already having second thoughts as had been queuing for ages and sobering up, so managed to persuade my friend to go first, thinking that they would hopefully run out of time for me).
  2. I had in mind the area just below the bikini line, not any more intimate than that.

My dad insisted I come with him on a business trip in West Africa.
I paid out for a visa, I got at least 4 different jabs done at the doctors. I got anti-malaria meds.

Dad cancelled the trip.

Couple of times I’ve gone to the supermarket, at stupidly busy times of the year, put a few items in my trolley but it has been too fucking busy so I’ve just abandoned the trolley in an aisle and walked out.

If this is what makes me a terrible person then so be it.

Off topic but doesn’t deserve its own thread, has anyone been so disappointed with a hair cut they’ve immediately gone to another barber straight after, and then gone home to try and cut it yourself?

when i first went to uni i got a haircut. got back to halls and they’d left it all long at the back, i looked like karen o. tried to cut it a bit myself but made a dogs dinner of it. gf came up to see me at the wknd and sorted it out, went and got it cut round the corner from her place in manchester after that

Yep. Back when I had long hair. Told them very clearly to take quite a bit off the back, and not much off the front and they did the opposite. Ended up with a mullet, basically. Had to try and even it up by cutting the back once I got home. Still looked dreadful, obviously.
