24 hours in Moldova, I think.

Luxembourg, on a coach for about forty minutes.

Airport only: Ukraine, Taiwan, UAE

An afternoon in Switzerland
A morning in Belgium
Three hours in Malmo, Sweden, before deciding that I was foolish to leave Copenhagen and headed back

My uncle got married in Norn Iron - we went to the republic to get petrol, so… 5 minutes?

A few hours in Borneo airport. An afternoon in Mexico. I travelled non-stop by train from Athens to Paris, went through Germany and maybe Austria or Switzerland. Can’t recall but that’s the only times I’ve been to those countries (or not.) An afternoon in Monaco. An afternoon in Vatican City, although I may have spent the night there. Or just outside. So vague.

3 hours in joburg. didnt leave the airport. AFAIR there was a luggage shop and a shop selling ties and scarves, none of which seem like things you should be worrying about once youre already inside the airport.

this but driving to holland and back one time

Went to Scotland for about an hour when I was on a short break in Northumberland (15 miles into Scotland or something). We went to this tiny sightseeing area, can’t remember the name. Other than that there wasn’t really much there.

Also stopped off to have lunch in Belgium (Brussels) on the way to Amsterdam via the Eurostar. Also would’ve been there for about an hour.

Exactly this. Apart from going to your nan’s house.

Oh. Wait. Exactly the opposite. Was in Brazil for three weeks and went to the Argentine side of the falls for the afternoon.

Popped into Switzerland long enough to get on a bus.

Wales is great, foppyish, you should get off the train next time!

Got the train from Copenhagen to malmo on a Sunday. Got there and most things were shut walked around a park for an hour and came back

So Sweden for about 2hrs

Both you and jook did this.

Cycled into Austria from Lindau. Immediately got on the ferry back.

Couple of hours in Burma basically just for the passport stamp. Walk over crossing north of Chiang Rai in Thailand.

The novelty of crossing country borders, even with no physical border per se, never gets old, does it?

When on holiday earlier this year we crossed lots of borders. The best was Luxembourg into Germany. We were cycling along a river right on the border and kept cycling over bridges into Germany. Had strudel and beers in Germany and it was about half the price of what it would have cost in Luxembourg.

Ukraine, had a few hours, Kiev is just Leeds but colder

Strolled over to the Zambian side of Vicky Falls for about three minutes.

Yeah it’s class. This arch is the border between Peru and Bolivia:

There’s a little football pitch off to the right of this too, I like to think the border guards from either side have matches when they’re bored
