bought Bill Callahan’s Dream River in 2013 and finally got around to listening to it this year so that’s 11 years. Any advance on that?
Dream river is top. Remember drinking a pint outside The Angel in manchester when it came out and listening to it on my ipod
Edit: if ive paid for an album i will probably listen to it fairly quickly although i buy a lot of vinyl of albums i previously pinched off the internet or had on cd, so those don’t get listened to sometimes for weeks
yeah it’s really nice
Got albums I bought when I was like 14 that I’ve never put on
I’m now 15
Happy birthday.
I think I bought Midnite Vultures in 2010 or so and still have never listened
I bought Carry On Up The Charts by The Beautiful South in 1994 and still haven’t listened to it, though admittedly it was a gift for my aunt.
I have a Teenage Fanclub album I bought on cassette around 1997 that I still haven’t listened to yet.
CD - few days, maybe a week?
Vinyl - couple of months maybe, until I summoned up the effort to plug in my record player
Dream River is good btw
Still haven’t listened to the last Godspeed album (God’s_Pee?) despite picking it up on release day. Just ent been in the mood. Got a Woody Guthrie box-set some years back that hasn’t had an outing yet. Probably a few more but honestly it’s rare for me to buy something physical and not play it fairly quickly. Don’t ask me about digital, though.
