What's the most beautiful town/city you've been to?

In terms of setting, prob San Franciso, Banff or Vancouver

In terms of pretty buildings and shit, probably brugge

Bruges, in terms of the fact the whole centre is consistently pretty gorgeous, not an ugly building in the place as far as I can remember. Other cities have have parts that are arguably more beautiful, but are let down by grimness a few streets away (Oxford is probably a good example of this).

Also a big fan of Bordeaux, actually. Lots of handsome honey coloured stone buildings in the centre, impressive gateways, nice cathedral. Railway station has a roof like St Pancras and a huge mural of the routes of the old railway company in the main hall. Even the football stadium is a work of art.

I like Innsbruck even more.
