My go to’s for this thread have always been POTC 3, You Me and Dupree and the actual all time worst film, White Chicks. I also fell asleep in the Minions Movie because it was so boring, although my kids liked it.

The film I’ve most recently just suddenly had enough of and turned off half way through was Avengers Infinity War. Probably not bad as such but I hadn’t seen many of the Marvel films and I suddenly realised I had no idea who anyone was, what they wanted, where they were, what was going on or why I should care. A bewildering experience.

Probably just a long-winded way of saying I am middle aged.

I watched True Grit and Black Swan on the same flight, which was actually pretty great. It managed to make flying with United bearable, which is an achievement

Probably, but fuck me there’s not a lot of other comforts on The World’s Greyest Airline so they could have been rendered in crayon and it would have felt like the end of 2001: A Space Odyssey

They are also both great, but the context certainly helped them out

I only mention it in relation to falling asleep at the cinema, and not as a contender for worst film. I thought the animation was really lush and I’ve read the book of it to N several times since.

Other than the subconscious homeopathy shit in the “water has memory” thing, I’ve got no beef with Frozen 2.

I don’t even dislike ABBA but that film is the worst film I have ever seen. Refuse to believe Mamma Mia 2 could be worse.

oh fuck. its got to be that greek one. where they’re all in some hotel in the woods, and they end up escaping. ends with some eyeball horror. i totally did not get the point of that film, or why anyone would bother to make it.
