Oh I quite enjoyed this, in a “oh, it’s on netflix so might as well stick it on” way. I don’t mind films that know in their heart of hearts that they’re bad, it’s the ones that think they’re masterpieces that get on my nerves
Dancer in the Dark is the one I hated most when watching it. Depends on your definition I guess. Is worst ‘shoddily made, poorly acted’ or is worse ‘unforgiveably and cynically and disgustingly manipulative?’
Technically the worst movie? That I’ve seen… probably Shallow Hal.
Just because its a hideous movie in terms of tone an and message and wasnt remotely funny
I have a very special hatred of Dark Knight Rises but that’ll be a stretch to call it the worst movie ever, it just pissed me off the most
See this is the thing, on paper this should’ve been the exact type of film I love to waste 90 minutes on. But it was just so bad I had to switch it off. Maybe I was having a bad day.
I remember people being so excited for the Dark Knight Rises in summer 2012, calling it the best superhero movie ever made, then some broadsheet talking it down as overblown nonsense and everyone quickly seeming to change their opinion to this.
Well I walked out of the film so I clearly didnt have to wait for this change of opinion. I saw the plot twist and subsequent death scene, got up, left
After the loud pointless garbage before it and dreadful hole ridden plot the twist to make Bane a subservient villain out of thin air in service of twist for twists sake was the final straw
Don’t be daft, Up is brilliant! and the Toy Story films are pretty good as well. I’ve watched a lot of kids films over the years and I can assure you there is some complete garbage out there.
