that video upthread of it with no laughter track is incredible - there’s multiple points where there’s a gap implying laughter but i was absolutely sure that the preceeding line wasn’t actually a joke

I can remember a few too many of those lyrics. Only other thing I can remember is they had a ‘Eurovision Song Contest’ episode - presumably because it worked alright for Father Ted.

Just had a look and it turns out ‘the guy who isn’t Alan Cumming’ was in the last series of Catastrophe? May have to watch that again.

I vaguely remember this show being shite so thought I’d watch the first episode to remind myself. Only managed 5 mins.

Weirdly, I’m almost positive Chris Morris is an extra in the opening scene reading a paper and sporting an almost Ted Maul style wig.

Am I going crazy or is that him?

Just googled this and it is indeed marvelous. The pauses are quite creepy, reminded me of Twin Peaks. TBBT is horrendous mainly because it’s one not very funny joke repeated over a seemingly infinite number of episodes. Very depressing that something like that has become so incredibly popular.

Five minutes into the first episode of Two Broke Girls I’ve ever seen. Good god, it’s dire… There are (attempted) jokes that don’t even make sense?! Irredeemably annoying characters too.
