I recall being really blown away by this bit. Not just because it’s a great song in a great film but the slightly odd 4th-wall breaking nature of it for a maximum emotional punch. One of those things I’d not really seen done before.

Also, let’s lol at the Academy not even nominating Magnolia for Best Picture. I mean it was such a strong year clearly

Another film that is pick a track, Angel Band, Po’Lazarus, O’Death, Lonesome Valley.

The second bonus disk that was released a few years ago for an anniversary of the film is full of some great tracks Tim Devil in particular.
