think i’ve mentioned this before, but one of my ATDs will either have naan or rice with his curry (not biryani).
- Lock him up
- Sensible choice, makes sense

Totally with you, a bit of ghee or garlic butter on top is all you need. Peshwari naan in particular is an abomination.
Good to know you read all my posts
I’m so sorry, plain naan brother
what’s controversial about this?
you would always have both, right? who would eat a curry without rice?
Added coconut can really cut through in a pleasant way though. And they’re tasty enough just to mop up bits at the end with.
Half a continent…
Garlic Chilli Chicken (annoyingly, doesn’t seem to be a standard dish in some places, but most places seem cool with it if you ask - butter chicken if not)
Mushroom Rice
Keema Naan
Poppadoms
Sag aloo if I’m super greedy
Was a big fan of Lamb saag for a long time but I’ve had some bad ones, the meat quality is so variable.
i dont believe it.
I never have rice. Only naan.
And with you on stuffed naans too btw. I go for a garlic one because you can always have more garlic. Always.
probably the most common thing I order:
chicken dhansak
pilau rice
plain naan or chapati or paratha or perhaps a bhatoora but some bread thing in any case
if I’m going for side dishes:
daal and/or
chana masala
and yeah no need to stuff the naan with extra shit, plain all the way
