If you were to ask me the question “Hey, Tone, what do you think about Cleggmania now with the benefit of hindsight?” I’d probably say something like “Well, I think Cleggmania probably caused irreparable damage to a generation’s opinion on the concept of democracy!”

Respectfully Bammers, I think it was a thing in that he seemed to genuinely energise a lot of young people who were jaded by the war criminals in the Labour party and the Tories and he did whip up a bit of frenzy with his debate performances where he said a lot of “the right things”
