*lying in bed. Thought your English was better than that, TBH.
I know, it’s pretty mental that all these years I’ve had no idea and not even noticed. i wonder if it has significant implications for professional female athletes.
If I could measure it I’d tell you.
Did it at school last term and it was like 90 but that’s probs just the stress of containing 30 kids
about 50
Even on its own an elevated resting heart rate would make a big difference, but combine it with the other effects and you can see why most top level sportswomen ‘shift’ their cycles using medication so that they peak at major tournaments.
Apparently that’s a myth and really we should all have resting heart rates of below 70.
i’d just eaten a hobnob when i measured mine, so i’m gonna assume that’s added 10bpm or so
You should really measure after you first wake up, so it’s fair to say you can probably knock about 15-20bpm off
Averages at 65 apparently
Miguel Indurain’s resting heart rate was 28.
Really high. Or low. Whichever the good one is.
…and surveying the body of your latest victim, considering whether you can get away with eating this one to hide the evidence?
Feeling my pulse always makes me feel a bit ill.
As if my heart ever rests
Totally.
This thread was inspired by the news story about the boy that died the night he went to fabric
Heart rate at the time he left: 190 bpm
Temperature at the he time he left: 42.2° centigrade
They are both RIDICULOUS numbers
“after you first wake up, so it’s fair to say you can probably knock about 15-20bpm off”
Also a banned act.
currently 65
According to my fitbit for the last couple of weeks it’s anywhere between 54 and 57.
