You should really measure after you first wake up, so it’s fair to say you can probably knock about 15-20bpm off

Averages at 65 apparently

Miguel Indurain’s resting heart rate was 28.

Really high. Or low. Whichever the good one is.

…and surveying the body of your latest victim, considering whether you can get away with eating this one to hide the evidence?

Feeling my pulse always makes me feel a bit ill.

As if my heart ever rests

Totally.

This thread was inspired by the news story about the boy that died the night he went to fabric

Heart rate at the time he left: 190 bpm

Temperature at the he time he left: 42.2° centigrade

They are both RIDICULOUS numbers

“after you first wake up, so it’s fair to say you can probably knock about 15-20bpm off”

Also a banned act.

currently 65

According to my fitbit for the last couple of weeks it’s anywhere between 54 and 57.

48 or something really stupidly low

51, not sure if the recently scoffed Aero has impacted on this though.

62, thanks

Mine is ridiculously high. I have an oura sleep tracking ring. On a normal night I might get it to 65, not as the average but as the lowest. If I’ve been drinking and/ or I’m especially stressed it might not get down out of the 70s all night. I can easily get it up to 100 just by climbing one flight of stairs. I’m going to die so so young aren’t I?

Pretty low…

That’s today - 7 day average is about 47

Don’t know why is that low, I’m not an elite athlete !!!

Mine’s elevated at the moment because I’ve got a cold, so it’s around 89. Not normally that high.

You should take up cycling or long distance running
