It’s not strange as such impolite: if a dinner is particularly tasty, I run my finger round the plate to mop up the juices.

Used to grate cheddar on frosties because I liked the sweet and salty combination, haven’t done it in years but have been looked on as a total deviant becsuse of it

bits of cheese floating around in liquid is upsetting to me
