With a little bit of hindsight, hell of a period for music. I remember being a bit burnout on the discussion come list season, but feels like there’s about 10x more certified classic albums than it felt like there were 4 years ago (nostalgia/distance/influence all help)

Think I have to narrow it down by picking the three albums that got me through the worst times:

The Antlers - Burst Apart
Local Natives - Hummingbird
Youth Lagoon - Wondrous Bughouse

Very surprised no one else has said Burst Apart, it’s the clear AOTD for me and the only one that would be in every permutation of the 20 or so albums that I could pick.
