The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour
Hey, a double EP! Your Mother Should Know!I Am The Walrus! The Fool On The Hill! Excellent stuff.
The Chalets - Nightrock
Bit of an odd one, this. The Chalets only put out one album, some singles, and this one EP. This EP is my favourite thing they released and something I still listen to a lot twenty years later. David Boring in particular is this moody, brooding track which was the best part of their live repertoire.
Malcolm Middleton - Girl Songs
Yer boy Malcolm covering The Saturdays, Girls Aloud, Ladyhawke, and Joan Osborne. Just him and an acoustic guitar taking on these big lavishly produced pop hits.
Honourable mention to that early Alabama Shakes EP, though I think all those songs ended up on the first album
R.E.M. - Chronic Town
Belle & Sebastian - Lazy Line Painter Jane
Pulp - The Sisters EP
Honourable Mentions:
Cocteau Twins - Sunburst And Snowblind
Stereolab - The Groop Played Spaceage Bachelor Pad Music
Spacemen 3 - Transparent Radiation
Burial - Rival Dealer
