It’s pretty much exactly what you expect tbh. I don’t want to dunk too much because I think it comes from a place of love rather than cynicism.

It’s most interesting in that it doesn’t quite “sparkle” in the way the original does. Different producer / budget / the ravages of time I guess.

I think the worst thing is that they took out the line “give a damn about me” and changed it to “care about me”. Which I guess might make it more likely that since parents will let their little kids listen to this but the lyric sounds objectively worse.
