When did you first realise that Rock & Roll had the power to change the world?

I think it’s a priori knowledge we’re all born with rather than something we realise.

I seen to recall it was the late 90s, and Billy Corgan was on the front cover of Kerrang! declaring that Rock is dead.

But then Limp Bizkit went and released Significant other and I realised that Billy, for all his talent, was clearly out of his depth talking about rock music. Rock music had the power to change the world.

It still does, if you think about it.
