Normally a still wave (rather than a moving-hand wave) then straight into a thumbs up, arm still raised.

Nah full wavey wave then thumbs up to me.

Another one i’ve picked up recently after seeing a comedy double act do it is, the air high five when someones not looking at you but everyone else can see it then you pretend it’s not happened

Does it count when you’re helping someone park their car in an awkward space and you’re waving them forward/backward before making the STOP! hand signal and then converting to a “you’re good!” thumbs up?
