Do you look dangerously like yer man Dyer?

Have one, never used it.

my washer and dryer are in different locations.

this isn’t especially convenient for obvious reasons but is the way things are for now.

given that, I can’t really answer the poll.

Are tumble dryers still destroying the environment or are they okay now?

Where do you keep your washing machine, Dyer?

Looks like you’re having a wonderful time here.

I’d just like to clarify, as am being inundated with queries, I accidentally clicked “Garage/Shed” in the poll, when actually, although I do have a garage, I keep the washing machine in the kitchen.

We’ve got one in our flat and it does the job for certain things as long as you don’t put too much in.

Try and dry as much stuff as possible on the airer, but towels are an absolute pain in the backside to dry. They take forever on the clothes horse, but as you say, they just come out steaming hot but still soaked if you chuck em in the drier.

She just does it for attention-seeking mate.

Have you guys ever had a dishwasher machine

marckee and bugduv have declared dishwashers “worth it” so might just call it a day there as we now know it to be false

Worth it is a really hard thing to quantify to be honest. It’s worth it in the sense that sometimes it’s great not to have to do washing up.

Otherwise you can manage fine without. Nice to have though.

Better for the environment (if you use it properly), and it saves you loads of time when you’re entertaining guests or doing stuff in the evenings.

it could work if you only stuck like one shirt in

but THE MOST ANNOYING THING in the entire world was that it would shake like fuck. the tumble dryer feature didn’t really work so the only time i would use it was if i needed one thing dry in a hurry. it would dry it out while jumping about and shaking like fuck and if you took your eye off it for just a second it shook so much that it would click the dial from ‘DRY’ onto ‘START WASHING’ and would flood the thing full of water just as the thing you needed in a hurry was almost dry

filling me with rage just thinking about it

You using lots of lovely electricity to power yours then? Gas heats my water.

Washer dryers are still notorious for being worse at washing than washing machines and worse at drying than tumble driers.

The most stupid thing is that the tumble drying capacity is usually lower than the washing machine capacity.

We just stick our clothes on a minky or two.

With a beard, I’d look like fat Poundland fat Dyer.
