Where have you stayed in an ibis?

#1

Someone at the thinlys work said we were tight for staying at an ibis. This annoyed me because 1 they are fine and B I care about the place I’m visiting not the hotel.

Anyway I have stayed at ibis’s in
England
Ireland
France
Spain
Austria
Bratislava
Australia
New Zealand
Brazil
Peru

Wbu?

General ibis chat also welcome.

a few places. just a budget chain hotel, I guess, with all the baggage that comes along with that, like destroying local businesses, putting local business owners out of work, and probably murdering local residents.

#8

Paris.

They are (or were?) definitely the bottom of the tree in terms of quality.

#9

Nah, no worse than Travelodge or any of that ilk.

Last time I stayed in one was when I missed my last train home after one of @Xylopwn’s open mic nights. Good times. (Terrible times).

They’re the ones that are like prison cells, right? Bunk beds, sink in the corner of the room, etc ,etc, yeah?

Salford
Southampton

The Southampton one was especially shit, as the room was right next to a McDonalds drive-thru so all I heard all night was people ordering late night munchies.
