What’s the reason chorizo in paella is such a no-no?

the same reason why serving a cumberland sausage with…idk a roast dinner would be a no-no.

probably worse tbh, as the chorizo imparts so much grease and flavour that the paella would be ruined.

also, unless you’ve been to valencia, i doubt anyone here has ever tasted paella before. the stuff you get in the supermarket here that’s branded as paella would be called ‘arroz a la x’ or ‘arroz con x’ in spain.

He’s been very clear on this point: we are absolutely at it when it comes to chucking chorizo into everything, whereas there is only one context in which it is officially sanctioned by Galicia: in ice cream, like a 99

I smashed up two huge mirrors yesterday and made some pies today. I’ve still got a load of mirror bits in the bath that I need to get rid of.

Been thinking about what I eat more and I’m drinking more water. I wake up not tired at about 08 hundred hours. slightly motivated too and don’t fall asleep in the afternoon. I was in a supermarket at half 9 this morning. I’m going on less www.ebsites which is good. I kind of run out of stuff to do by 4pm but that’s ok.

Thought about starting a pie business a few days ago but I’m not keen on them. Will keep practising and see if I enjoy doing it though.

My sis and my lovely niece and nephew (all three I adore) have sent me pictures of their sunny day at Witterings beach. What have I been up to? Snoring, sticking my head in the fridge and drinking like a slovenly oaf! I should of curled up in the boot and gone with them. I love swimming in the sea. Last time I went to Witterings it was really warm and humid and a big storm was just out to sea and we were all swimming with lightning far on the horizon.

I’ve done jack shit today. And that’s fine by me. Arse must engage with gears tomorrow.
