you don’t usually have to measure them. fridges are all the same size.

you only run into problems when you get them from some industrial supply place like hyg has clearly done.

First things first, move those fucking knives.

:point_up_2:This is not answered by :point_down:this.

Would the @SenorDingDong stylee under-counter separate fridge and freezer have been an option, to the right of where the sink is?

The thing is, the oven clearly belongs under the hob.

If it were, the full height unit currently housing the oven wouldn’t be needed and you could have as big a fridge as you like sat there instead. Would need to relocate your drawers, though, which appear to be wider than 600mm… :expressionless:

Yes, a friend of ours moved into a new house and promptly ordered her dream American fridge but there was no way yo actually get it into the house. :frowning:

The whole kitchen was extended / remodelled by the previous owners who never lived here, they just renovated it after their dad died or something, so there was no fridge.

We deliberately decided not to get an ice maker / water dispenser because those things always end up going smelly and weird.

Not if they’re plumbed in like my father in law’s in my experience

Well, as we’ve seen, that kind of forward planning was not involved.

Further to the no planning thing, the Plusnet guy is coming this morning and we’ve just realised we can’t find a phone socket anywhere in the house. How do you renovate a house and leave that out?

You’re not supposed to touch the BT master socket in your house, so if it was there before, it should still be there now.

Even moving it to another location is something that most electricians get twitchy about.

Have you checked the 4 miles behind the fridge?

Surprised your massive fridge doesn’t have its own master socket

Most plugs or plug sockets are at around shin/knee height in a house so make sure you’re scouring the walls at below eye level
