Actually not sure about this. It does get noisy in the end and a lot of stuff post-The Downward Spiral was less noisy than it and what came before it.
The Beach Boys - Kokomo
i mean it has its charms but yes.
David Bowie - Laughing Gnome
I tell you handing someone 1.Outside would be quite the choice as a first Bowie album.
(Although I guess there are other contenders out there, e.g. Tin Machine)
Killing Joke - Brighter Than A Thousand Suns
although it was where I started so
Although it’s ironic that the preceding 14 tracks of Past Masters Vol 2 would be the perfect intro to The Beatles.
I know very little Bowie tbh but the Gnome song just leapt into my head
Pumpkins – We Only Come Out At Night
Elton John - Ghetto Gospel, Jamaica Jerk Off, Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word (feat. Blue)
Butthole Surfers - Weird Revolution
or Electriclarryland before it, both passable albums but neither bear any resemblance to any of the rest of the Buttholes’ output
yeah you can have that one too
Legacy band - Their new album
Beach boys - summer of love
R.E.M - Around the Sun.
Is that one good, then?
*ducks*
Lou Reed ‘Metal Machine Music’
Neil Young ‘Trans’
I know someone who saw them on that 2006 NME tour, and thought they were so bad, to this day they’ve refused to listen to them ever again
The Clash - Cut the Crap
i know you said three but hope its okay if i name a couple more
