Just checked the edit history and you’ve just added it.

Thinking about it condiments dont exist, it’s mashed up food that you can dip stuff in.

slippery onion dip

Ketchup is probably the easiest to eat a mass quantity of surely?

It’s not heavy, it’s not spicy, it’s not sickly.

Either that or gravy, anyway.

Just popped in to say its Onion Gravy

ketchup is really horrible on it’s own though

How did horseradish sauce get its name?

It’s a sauce made from horseradish.

That makes sense

  • horses and radishes

I would also guess that horseradishes are called horseradishes because they use to be/still are fed to horses?

Anything officially classified as a condiment would be awful on its own.

The correct answer is what @ma0sm said: Custard.

In German, it’s called “meerrettich” (sea radish) because it grows by the sea. Many believe the English mispronounced the German word “meer” and began calling it “mareradish.” Eventually it became known as horseradish. The word “horse” (as applied in “horseradish”) is believed to denote large size and coarseness, much like a horses penis.
