Used to always be a Carling man. This was before pale ale and all that changed things in 2010 or something. Everyone was drinking Carling before that. Tell me I’m wrong.

Before beer wankerism there were 4 categories imo:

Heineken/Kronenbourg
Guinness
Carling/Fosters
Real ale

Cider people are separate.

Hierarchy of lager crispness (assuming equal serving temperature)

First swig of can > good pint > bottle > middle bit of can > bad pint > end of can >>> end of roadie can

People need to stop buying Carling so they can go into all the other industries that they keep saying they would blow out of the park.

Budweiser’s fine in bottle form, totally inoffensive. On tap though immediately horrendous, no idea how that happens.

‘‘A pint of budweiser’’ even sounds wrong.

actually "If Carlsberg Did Haircuts" - Carlsberg The Barber Shop TVC - YouTube

fuck that they all look crap. They just have no taste (lol) and think really annoying = ‘best in the world’.

I’ll be the pedant and say that some of them aren’t lagers, but Guinness is my pub safe bet beer.

Supermarket lager - gotta be Estrella. But we’re so spoiled these day.

Never heard of a Schweppes lager, I am intrigued.
