I’ve got cassette box set of the radio show somewhere covering the first two books I think. It really is very good. And the original tv series was good too (that I remember) and felt closer to the radio show than the book

The first two books are IIRC roughly episodes 1-8 and 12 of the original run. The stuff in the later half of the second series was never used elsewhere, which is odd.

Although it was a reference to Jerry Sadowitz’s TV programme The Pall Bearer’s Revue which I think was on BBC just before Paul Bearer arrived in WWF. Didn’t know what a pall bearer was until may years later.
