Mill Lane, Canterbury - if you’ve walked along the river or gone to sainsburys or the dolphin or the millers arms pubs you may have walked that way

Going back a good 10 years now though! I don’t miss having buses pulling up pretty much eye level at my flat window or late night kebab eating shenanigans.

2003/2004 for me. A load of us were sharing one of the big houses opposite the school, with a little archway and a staircase up to the front door. It was a frequent dumping ground for the end of many of those kebabs. I miss the Cat ‘n’ Wheel though.

The Cat and Wheel has not changed, at all. Gloucester Road has become very fancy though, and Stokes Croft is not as dangerous and has loads more bars and pubs.
