Which TV series are you most looking forward to rewatching in the future?

So not necessarily your favourite series, or the best, more the one you most think you’d enjoy most with fresh eyes.

Let’s say excluding The Wire and Sopranos to make it mildly interesting.

For me it’s Mr Robot. Liked it a lot at the time bar one series which was naff (S2 or S3?). Think it might age well, and it was perfect for late night viewing.

Going to leave it a few years, though. Tried to rewatch Boardwalk Empire recently, which I loved, but just couldn’t get into it as it was too soon. Think you need to forget stuff to really get involved in a rewatch.

Shoot…

The Night Of. Not seen it since it came out. Hoping to pick up a cheap Now TV sub soon.

Have you seen the British mini-series it was based on, with Ben Wishaw and Pete Postlethwaite?

Yeah, probably ought to rewatch that too tbh

Drop the Dead Donkey

Don’t really rewatch many TV shows but I reckon either True Detective S1 or The Terror S1

Genuinely think she’s one of the all time great sitcom characters.

If you can watch this and not laugh you must be made of stone…

Gonna make a habit of watching Schitts Creek every January

The Leftovers, but I need to leave it a bit so I properly forget enough of it to make it worthwhile.

Currently doing this with Jersey Shore and it’s still absolutely incredible. And we recently did it for the VH1 “of love” shows too and they were just as good as the first time around (edit - also absolutely incredible, in case there was any ambiguity).

Excluding those, I’m going to go with The Leftovers for standard tv and Average Joe for reality tv. Though I don’t think I can ever forget Average Joe.

Not enough people seem to realise how good The Leftovers was, it’s a stunning show

It really is. My wife and I were both led to believe it wasn’t very good and a pretty big miss from HBO, but then we tried it out of boredom 5 or 6 years ago and it blew us away. We’re just trying to forget as much as possible now. Bet it hits even harder nowadays.

Prisoner: Cell Block H

Currently halfway through season 9 of the US Office on my nth rewatch and already keen to go back to season 2.

I’ve watched Station Eleven twice already and am already looking forward to it a third time

Atlanta, especially seasons 3 and 4.
