- Go all round the world to see lots of interesting places but everyone there is from the East Midlands
- Stay in the East Midlands but you meet lots of interesting different people from around the world
Feel like the second option is just “be Alan Moore”
Not a problem as i don’t talk to other humans.
Where are the dogs from?
dogs don’t believe in the concept of National or regional identity as far as I know
I’m not fussed about meeting interesting people one way or the other I just don’t want to leave the East Midlands
if I met somebody from a different country I’d just ask them lots of really asinine questions about words in their language and really annoy them
Love the idea of trekking up into a remote valley in Bhutan and at the top there’s Dom and Jade from Loughborough with their cockapoo
if they are from Eastern Europe I’d ask them if Depeche Mode are really as big as Ronaldas said as I can’t really believe it
hate the way I will use the same word 4 times in a row. Abyssmal vocabulary
Hey @Bamnan have you ever been to Coventry?
is that where the university of warwick is?
I went to an open day there I think
Yup, travel the world,.won’t speak to another soul either way.
I think so yeah. I’ve not been for ages but I use to go to my grandad’s pub there when I was little (pub he used to go to not a pub he owned)
Good question. I’m not sure.
sorry just realised some of you may not be from the East Midlands and so might consider it an exotic and enticing location. In which case, please substitute it with wherever you are from. Thank you
@Bamnan have you been to all 4 corners of the East Midlands?
Which is your favourite spot?
Can I use this thread to ask you anything about the East Mids?
I’m not sure I have, I don’t think I’ve been to all 4 corners of Northants yet
I have been to
- Derbyshire
- Leicestershire
- Lincolnshire (except for North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire)
- Northamptonshire
- Nottinghamshire
- Rutland
Edit. Poll redux
ok I guess I have been everywhere
Sorry, messed the poll up
