So good for the price. Amazing to make things like old fashioned’s as well. <3

Yeah I brought a bottle back for Christmas with me once and my sister made a load of hot toddys with it. Wasn’t happy with that - rinsed about a quarter of the bottle!

Yep!

Quite like it. Recently tried the Sinatra select, absolutely totally different to anything else by JD (it’s not 100% to my taste but is still nice enough) Number 27 is quite nice too.

Creek*

JD Honey > Any scottish shit

How smoky is Blue compared to Black?

recently come across a mail order whisky club
used to do a cider one from the Bristol cider shop but they kept sticking perry’s in & it’s on my way home so can just pop in & choose the ones I like so nixed that

this whisky one look interesting
£27 a month & you get 5 25 ml bottles & 1 10ml bottle of a “super premium” whisky

might give it a go

How y’all drinking your whisky then?
I’m a 1 ice cube man. Something glorious about how lonely one cube looks.

Bloody love a ting, only had it with rum mind.

Neat. Always neat. No water.

Hardcore, only tend to go that route if I’m going to down it, thinking I’m Clint Eastwood/looking to become a dribbling mess in about twenty minutes

I want the biggest, boldest hit there is ruffers.

I’ll be honest with you - there’s a lot of whisky I drink that would be even better with a couple of drops of water in it and my main objection is that my kitchen is too far from my booze cabinet to bother fetching it.

1 cube. Would add a splash of water but the tap water round here is so damn hard I’m not sure I can trust it

I’m with GEOFF on this one

Usually neat, sometimes with a little drop of water. Will drink bourbon with ice but not Whisky.

Current favourites:
Lagavulin
Hakushu
Talisker
Johnny Walker Black
Glengoyne 18

Bourbon: One large cube of Ice
Scotch: Neat normally, but depends. Will sometimes add a drop or two of water to the most alcoholic tasting ones because it opens up the flavour so much more.

The last couple of years I’ve dropped in on the Deanston distillery while visiting family and bought a bottle each time. My current one is this, which is tremendously easy drinking without being too weak. Usually I go for something peatier but it’s super nice

Ima gonna buy a whisky after work now, cheers dis.

Quarter Cask is a wonderful regular. I also have a 32 year old Laphroaig that I was given as a wedding present that’s on strict rationing because its like ambrosia. If ambrosia was a beautiful variant on diesel.
